New Faculty Benefits Orientation
Email benefits@vanderbilt.edu with your request to attend one of the sessions below for new faculty benefits orientation. Seating is limited.
A confirmation email will be sent to you (and if you are a department representative reserving a seat for a new faculty member, we will send the confirmation email to both of you, if you provide both email addresses).

If you have been given a faculty appointment, but have not yet begun work at Vanderbilt, you may still attend a Faculty Benefits Orientation. That is, you do not have to wait until after your appointment date to email the Office of Benefits Administration with your request to attend one of the sessions listed above.
All sessions are held at 2525 West End Avenue, Suite 500. Parking is available in front of the building or in the attached garage. If you park in the garage, be sure to bring your ticket in for validation.
Your Benefits Enrollment Form is due within 30 days of your appointment date. If you miss your enrollment deadline, your benefits elections will be the default coverage.
If you are changing from a benefits-eligible staff or house staff position to a faculty position at Vanderbilt, the benefits in which you are currently enrolled will continue. A change in position does not enable you to make changes to your benefits, so you do not need to attend the benefits orientation. Please refer to the Faculty Manual for more information.
