Vanderbilt Retirement Plan — Staff/House Staff Eligibility
As a staff/house staff member, you are eligible to contribute a portion of your salary in the Vanderbilt Retirement Plan on the supplemental level immediately. You will be automatically enrolled on the mandatory level upon completion of 12 months of service and meeting the 1,000-hour requirement.
Mandatory
The required contribution is 3% and Vanderbilt will match 3% dollar-for-dollar.
Basic
You may also choose to contribute an additional 2% that Vanderbilt will match dollar-for-dollar.
Supplemental
You may contribute up to IRS limits.
