My Spouse’s/Partner’s Coverage Changes
If an event causes your spouse or same-sex domestic partner to gain or lose health, dental and/or vision coverage, or their employer's coverage changes significantly during their company's Open Enrollment period, you may want to add or delete them from Vanderbilt's coverage, or enroll in our plan(s) if you previously waived coverage.
To change the coverage for your spouse/partner, you must make a Family Status Change Request within 30 days of the event that triggered the coverage change (note that this is not necessarily the same date as the coverage change itself).
You must provide supporting documentation to make changes to your coverage.
