    1. Who is eligible for the tobacco cessation benefit?

    If you are covered under the Vanderbilt Health Care Plan for Faculty and Staff, you and your covered dependents are eligible to receive the reimbursement from the health care plan. If you are not covered under the health care plan, you can receive a similar reimbursement from HEALTH Plus. (See the "Events, Classes and Services" page of the HEALTH Plus Web site for details.)

    2. How does the benefit work?

    Contact the Kim Dayani Health Promotion Center to enroll in their tobacco cessation program. The Vanderbilt Group Health Care Plan will pay for the cost of the program, up to $300.

    3. Do I have to succeed in quitting to receive the reimbursement?

    No. We established this benefit to encourage you. We are glad you are making the effort to quit.

    5. How do I register for the Kim Dayani program?

    To register for the Dayani program, you should call Barbara Forbes at the Kim Dayani Health Promotion Center at 322.4751 or email her at barbara.forbes@vanderbilt.edu.
