Resources for International Employees
Vanderbilt University provides a variety of services for current and prospective international faculty and staff. The following offices provide services specific to this population:
Office of International Services (OIS)
Provides services for current and prospective employees in H-1B, TN-1, and O-1 status, and coordinates employment-based permanent residency.
Provides assistance with tax issues specific to international employees.
Provides confidential, professional services for international staff and faculty. Services include counseling for personal problems and job-related issues, life skills coaching, referrals to community resources, financial emergency assistance, and health/wellness screenings.
International Student and Scholar Services (ISSS)

Provides services for current and prospective Vanderbilt international students, scholars, faculty, and staff holding F and J visa status on a myriad of immigration and visa related issues.

Provides English language instruction in a friendly and supportive environment.
