HR Records Management
HR Records Management manages and maintains files for over 30,000+ faculty, staff, and student workers. Record information is retained through:
- Hard-copy format
- HR/Payroll system
- Microfiche (Terminated Faculty and Staff only)
Customer Service
- Provides department administrators with assistance in completing Personnel Action Forms (PAF), Position Management Forms (PMF), and I-9 forms
- Assists faculty/staff with completing forms to update tax information (W 4), name changes, address changes, and/or direct deposits (Employee Information/Paycheck Distribution Form)
New Staff Orientation
- Presents information and assists new hires with paperwork, collect and insure compliance with I-9 form regulations , W-4/W-5, Employee Information/Paycheck Distribution Form
HR Information System
- Processing University Personnel Action Forms (PAFs), Position Management Forms (PMFs), Employee Information Forms, I-9’s, W-4s, Address Changes, Name Changes for University and Medical Center faculty, staff, and student workers. (Note: Medical Payroll data enters PAFs and PMFs for VUMC faculty and staff)
VU Medical Center ID Card Office (VUMCCO)
- Create and issue VUMC ID badges
