Mission Statement
The Employee Relations staff is committed to contributing to a positive and productive work environment by providing services that address organizational employment practices and foster staff satisfaction. Some of these services are: coordinating the Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA) and other leaves of absence, assuring adherence to FLSA, providing review and consistency to Vanderbilt University policies and practices and mediating conflicts. Employee Relations Representatives are available to communicate and train on all policy related matters to managers, supervisors and staff.
