Shopping on Campus

Commodore Card
Can be used as a debit card at most campus retail locations, including vending machines, cafeterias, bookstores and shops. Money can be deposited at the Commodore Card Office, 184 Sarratt, or online. (615) 322-2273.

Barnes & Noble at Vanderbilt Bookstore

Vanderbilt faculty and staff receive a 10% discount on most merchandise and café items.

ITS Software Store
The ITS Software Store offers discounts on Microsoft and Adobe products for faculty and staff personal use. 

MacAuthority Authorized Campus Store
MacAuthority is the official Vanderbilt Campus Store for all Apple products. This partnership between Vanderbilt and MacAuthority allows faculty, staff and students to purchase Apple products, software and service at educational pricing.

Dining on Campus

Faculty and staff can purchase a meal plan on the Commodore Card. Simply swipe your card at specific locations (The Faculty & Staff Meal Plan will be available at these locations: Rand, Ro*Tiki, C.T. West, Quiznos, Chef James Bistro, The Pub, all Varsity Markets, Suzie’s Cafes at Blair, Divinity and Featheringill, The Commons, Center Smoothie, Nectar, and Grins.). The Vandy Café, Suzie’s Expresso Coffee Shop, Subway, Ben & Jerry's, and Taco Bell and Pizza Hut Express are located on the second floor of the Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital and serve a large variety of hot meals, sandwiches, salads, snacks, and beverages.  Service hours are:

    Breakfast: 6 a.m.–10 a.m. (Daily)
    Lunch and Dinner: 11 a.m.–7 p.m. (Monday – Friday) 
  • Suzie’s Expresso Coffee Shop
    6:30 a.m.–5 p.m. (Monday – Friday)

Sarratt Student Center Main Desk
Tickets to many off-campus performances can be purchased from this Ticketmaster outlet. Only in-person purchases are allowed and credit cards are not accepted.  343-3361

 Discount movie tickets for Regal and Carmike Cinemas
VU employees can purchase discounted tickets at the Sarratt front desk to see movies at any area Regal or Carmike Cinemas.

Libraries
VU employees have free access to and check out privileges at all of Vanderbilt's libraries.
