How to Access & complete SAR documentation
- Go to Internet Address:
- Enter your user name and password
- Click “Get Report” (Do not enter date parameters)
- Click on the pencil icon next to the candidate name to make your SAR documentation
- Select the appropriate code from the drop down menu (you cannot edit/change a code once selected)
- Use the hiring manager notes box to make comments about the candidate (Ex. Name of interviewers, dates attempted to contact, reference information, etc.)
- Enter interview date (if applicable)
- Click “Update Notes and Interview” to save the information you have entered
The SAR information will be transferred electronically from Human Resource Services to the ODC department. Tapes will be maintained for two years. The hiring official is not required to keep a copy of the SAR tracking. However, it is the responsibility of the hiring official to maintain documentation of the interview notes, reference checks, and any documentation that was used in the selection process for two years from the hire date.
