RECLASSIFICATON PROCESS
A reclass may be warranted when the job duties for an established position have changed significantly and the current job description is no longer an accurate reflection of the main focus of the role. The position number remains the same.
A position may be vacant or a filled.
If it is a vacant position, it may qualify for an express reclass.
Contact the Compensation Analyst for your department to discuss if a reclass may be warranted for a filled position, or one that does not meet the express criteria.
