Shopping on Campus

Commodore Card
Can be used as a debit card at most campus retail locations, including vending machines, cafeterias, bookstores and shops. Money can be deposited at the Commodore Card Office, 184 Sarratt, or online. (615) 322-2273.

Barnes & Noble at Vanderbilt Bookstore

Vanderbilt faculty and staff receive a 10% discount on most merchandise and café items. 
Mon-Thurs 8am-10pm; Fri-Sat 8am – 11pm; Sun 11am – 7pm.

Medical Center Gift Shop

ITS Software Store
The ITS Software Store offers discounts on Microsoft and Adobe products for faculty and staff personal use. 

MacAuthority Authorized Campus Store
MacAuthority is the official Vanderbilt Campus Store for all Apple products. This partnership between Vanderbilt and MacAuthority allows faculty, staff and students to purchase Apple products, software and service at educational pricing.


Dining on Campus

Faculty and staff can purchase a meal plan on the Commodore Card. Simply swipe your card at specific locations. The Faculty & Staff Meal Plan will be available at these locations: Rand Dining Center, Commons Center, Kissam Kitchen, Last Drop Coffee Show, Pi & Leaf, Bamboo Bistro, Pub at Overcup Oak, Rocket Subs, Rotiki, Grins, Suzie’s (Blair, Engineering, MRB III), Food for Thought, and all Campus Markets.

The Vandy Café, Suzie’s Expresso Coffee Shop, Subway, Ben & Jerry's, and Taco Bell and Pizza Hut Express are located on the second floor of the Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital and serve a large variety of hot meals, sandwiches, salads, snacks, and beverages.  Service hours are:

    Breakfast: 6 a.m.–10:30 a.m. (Daily)
    Lunch: 11 a.m.–2 p.m. (Monday – Friday) 
  • Suzie’s Expresso Coffee Shop

Sarratt Box Office

Sarratt Student Center, Main Desk: 615-343-3361
Hours: Mon.-Sat. 10 a.m.-7 p.m. (varies for events, holidays, and breaks). Cash, Visa, MC, and Commodore Cash accepted.

Discounted Regal movie tickets are available to VU students/faculty/staff, and the box office provides Ticketmaster sales to Nashville area concerts and events. Also offered are event tickets to most on-campus, non-athletics events. These include events hosted by student, greek, multi-cultural organizations, and VU departments.


Libraries
VU employees have free access to and check out privileges at all of Vanderbilt's libraries.
