Exempt Time Off Reporting

Part of HR's efforts to simplify processes and reduce paper, the Exempt Time Off Online Reporting Tool replaces the paper-based monthly report. At the end of each month, eligible exempt staff members will receive an e-mail to remind them to complete their time off report. Simply log in to the tool and report your time. Time off reports are electronically routed to your designated approver. Time reports must be completed and approved no later than the 10th calendar day of each month.

Time Reporting and Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA)
All employees should follow the process to request leave under the Family Medical Leave Act. See the FMLA website for complete instructions.
When an employee is eligible for leave under FMLA, the employee must indicate if they are using FMLA time prior to the time being taken. At the time the employee submits a time report for the period, he or she should follow the instructions based on his or her leave status (paid/unpaid).
In addition to approving the employee's time report, supervisors must also submit the Leave Utilization Tracker to HR each month.
