Alison 
Alison is an online platform that that emphasizes a belief that through education everyone has the power to change their lives, and ultimately the world, for the better. The Alison catalog covers topics ranging from IT to business to lifestyle and more.

Codecademy 
Codecademy offers a complimentary basic plan with more than 180 hours of content to assist learners in developing coding and technology skills.

Cornerstone Cares
To support clients, partners, and those impacted by COVID-19, Cornerstone has launched Cornerstone Cares - a free resource and site site to support COVID-19 awareness and preparedness, stress management, and working from home.

Coursera
Coursera is an online platform for education and learning, with a catalog that includes online courses provided by top higher education institutions and Fortune 50 organizations on an array of topics.

CUPA-HR
CUPA-HR is the professional association for higher education human resources, they offer a catalog of online courses focused on search processes, understanding higher education and more in addition to webinars and essentials videos.To sign-up, go to cupa-hr.org, click Login, scroll down to ‘click here’ to create a new account, add your information and Vanderbilt University in the organization field.

edX 
edX is an online platform for education and learning, founded by Harvard and MIT. edX has a learning catalog that includes online courses ranging from architecture and art to nutrition to management and safety and more.

Harvard Online Courses 
Harvard Extension School was founded with the mission to create an affordable way for any motivated student to take courses at Harvard. Presently, the offer a library of more than 50+ complimentary courses as part of their online learning catalog.

Higher Education Recruitment Consortium
The Higher Education Recruitment Consortium (HERC) is a national association of higher education institutions, focused on diversity and inclusion and dual careers in the higher education workforce for faculty and staff. They offer a library of past and upcoming webinars, toolkits and other learning resources for any employee of a membership institution. Vanderbilt is an institutional member and administers the Southeastern region of the HERC.

MIT OpenCourseWare
MIT OpenCourseWare (OCW) is a web-based publication of virtually all MIT course content. OCW is open and available to the world and is a permanent MIT activity.

Open Yale Courses
Open Yale Courses provides free and open access to a selection of introductory courses taught by distinguished teachers and scholars at Yale University. The aim of the project is to expand access to educational materials for all who wish to learn.

Stanford Online
Stanford Online offers learners a single point of access to Stanford’s extended education and lifelong learning opportunities both on campus and around the world, offering a number of zero-cost online learning courses as part of their larger catalog.

TEDEd
TED-Ed’s mission is to spark and celebrate the ideas of teachers and students around the world. The site offers a library of animated short videos on an array of eclectic learning topics.

TED Talks
TEDTalks are influential videos from expert speakers on education, business, science, tech and creativity, with subtitles in 100+ languages.

Please note that some of the listed service providers offer both free and paid course work, the University does not pay or reimburse for the selection of paid course work unless an agreement has been made in advance between an employee and their department head and is at the discretion of the business unit.
