International Tax Office announces transition to Sprintax in January 2025
The International Tax Office (ITO) has announced a new partnership with Sprintax, set to launch in January 2025. This change comes in response to feedback from the campus's international community and aims to enhance the tax filing experience for international students, researchers and employees.
The new system, Sprintax, will replace the current platform, Glacier, providing an upgraded suite of features designed to streamline the tax process. Among the benefits offered are:
- Simplified Tax Filing: A user-friendly, step-by-step system to guide individuals through the process.
- Real-time Updates: Access to the latest information on tax regulations and changes.
- Secure Document Storage: A safe and accessible way to store tax documents.
- Expert Support: A dedicated, around-the-clock support team to assist with any questions.
In addition, Sprintax Returns will be offered at no cost, enabling seamless electronic filing of 2024 tax returns directly to the IRS—eliminating the need for mailing paper forms.
Further details about Sprintax and its implementation will be shared in the coming weeks, ensuring the transition is as smooth and beneficial as possible.
