Who: All Vanderbilt employees who have service anniversaries starting with 5 years of service, and continuing in five-year increments (5, 10, 15, 20, 25, etc).
What: An item(s) of their choosing from the online, university-branded shopping catalog. Employees with 25 years of service have the choice between the beloved Vanderbilt Chair (rocking or caption) or the online shopping catalog.
When: Service Awards will be awarded the month of the employees’ service anniversary. Employees with an anniversary will receive an email from Vanderbilt Service Awards (noreply@serviceawards.vanderbilt.edu) with ordering instructions. Employees will have 6 weeks to select their award, with multiple reminder emails before the selection deadline.
Where: There is an online shopping catalog for our Service Award distribution. You go to the online shopping catalog, select your Vanderbilt branded item(s) and it is mailed directly to the address of your choice.
Why: Service awards are offered to individuals in recognition of their dedicated and exemplary contributions to Vanderbilt University. These accolades serve as a tangible expression of gratitude for the commitment, loyalty, and outstanding service demonstrated by recipients.
