Sherry plays a key role in strengthening the Vanderbilt work experience for employees across the institution. Her work focuses on aligning people strategy with Vanderbilt’s values of belonging, self-direction, collaboration, and growth. She leads efforts across talent strategy, recruiting, employee relations, organizational design, and policy development, helping teams work more effectively together while fostering a strong culture of learning and engagement.

She brings extensive global experience from organizations including the New Zealand Ministry of Education, Dell Technologies, Honeywell, and General Motors. Throughout her career, Sherry has combined a data-driven approach with a genuine passion for creating workplaces where people feel supported, connected, and empowered to do their best work. Her experience across diverse sectors and cultures informs her work building thoughtful, people-centered strategies that help organizations and individuals thrive.
