Q. What stage of Performance Accountability and Commitment Plan / Progressive Discipline will not receive an increase?

A. Employees on a final Performance Accountability and Commitment Plan are not eligible for an annual increase. Employees on a written Performance Accountability and Commitment Plan are not automatically eligible for an annual increase. At the manager's discretion and in consultation with PE, an increase for an employee who has been on a written performance plan may be considered, provided the employee has significantly met and sustained performance expectations.

Q. If a staff member is on Performance Accountability and Commitment / Progressive Discipline during the annual evaluation period and then comes off before July, will they receive an increase? 

A. Employees on a final Performance Accountability and Commitment plan are not eligible for an annual increase. Employees on a written Performance Accountability and Commitment plan are not automatically eligible for an annual increase. At the manager's discretion and in consultation with PE, an increase for an employee who has been on a written performance plan may be considered provided the employee has significantly met and sustained performance expectations. 

Q. My staff member is currently on Performance Accountability and Commitment / Progressive Discipline. Do I complete an Annual Performance Evaluation?

A. A full evaluation is completed even if the person is on either performance plan. Employees on a final Performance Accountability/Commitment are not eligible for an annual increase. Employees on a written Performance Accountability/Commitment plan are not automatically eligible for an annual increase. At the manager's discretion and in consultation with PE, an increase for an employee who has been on a Written Performance Plan may be considered provided the employee has significantly met and sustained performance expectations.
