Interested in maximizing your retirement contributions?

Open the Maximizing Retirement Contributions Calculator* and enter information from your most recent paycheck to see what contribution percentage will help you reach the IRS maximum for unmatched contributions.

The maximum contribution level for 2008 is $15,500 for faculty and staff under 50 years old, and $20,500 for those 50 and older.

Changes to your Vanderbilt Retirement Plan contribution percentage can be made once a calendar quarter. Use the Retirement Plan Contribution & Investment Allocation Form (SRA) available on the Forms and Documents page to change your contribution percentage. If you want to change your investment/fund choice(s), you must also submit the appropriate investment company form.

    * Note: Use the contributions calculator at your discretion. The calculator is designed to help you determine your contribution percentage in order to reach the IRS maximum contribution limit for the calendar year. The calculator uses information entered by you based on your salary and age. Should any of this information change, it is your responsibility to reevaluate your contribution percentage. As the results depend on figures you enter, Vanderbilt University will not guarantee that use of this calculator will generate the maximum contribution level.
