Performance Management Toolkit

Vanderbilt University is committed to the ongoing growth and development of all employees. It is important that each employee knows how they are performing, how they can grow, and how their work aligns with department and university goals. Leaders should have midyear and annual performance conversations with their staff.

In recognition of the different ways schools and departments conduct performance evaluations. This toolkit provides employees and leaders with resources for these conversations. This toolkit provides articles, checklists, conversation guides, goal setting tools and other resources to support employees and leaders with performance development discussions.
